my point was I've heard this over and over. i never knew he was born again and didnt care. his teams at Georgia looked 10 times tougher than ours. he also was on the radio and said "old school cane defense" "beasts" etc. doesnt sound it to me. at the press conference he basically said he is taking who he wants from UGA class. i wanted butch but I'm not disappointed by this at all. he seems to want to prove UGA wrong.

Because he was expecting mass agreement with his first post. When he didn't get it he changed the idea to being a general feeling with which he didn't agree.

Don't think for a minute that he's too religious to get down and dirty. Look at recruiting - he looks the other way when it comes to buying recruits with the best of them. He's not afraid to get down and dirty with the street agent sleaze and I know he's not afraid to step on someone's throat. If he was too nice, you'd see Georgia consistently put out mediocre seasons.

He learned that whole humble God fearing schtick from Bowden. No bigger dirtbag alive than Bowden in his prime, but he was smart enough not to do the scumbag thing publicly. Publicly, he was the ultimate good guy aw shucks Christian gentleman.
 
He's too nice like golden. I hope he changes that and develops a killer instinct. Its the only reason why I could see him failing to win a championship in 15 years with all that talent at Georgia.
 
Your concerned with the wrong things...
Any coach would get mad as **** and flip out on his players in certain circumstances, some get tripped out on anything ( Muschump)
Richt has been doing this a long time and knows how/when/where to loose your ****.
Just enjoy what is about to take place!

He was telling a joke about Norm Chow. It was in very poor taste.

Mark Richt is an educator of the game, why does he have to be tyrannical to get his points across. He treats these kids like they are his own and he will discipline them if need be, he walks by faith and he coaches with a passion that the public never gets the chance to see.
 
bottom line nycane is clueless dumb and not a factor. You make really stupid posts you get what you deserve. If you are an adult , shame on you
