Richt has been a phenomenal success...

Our depth at WR is horrendous next year. Very happy Coley is back.

The terrorist? No business what so ever going pro. Glad Elder is back. I suspect you see Byrd and Elder starting by the end of next year opposite each other.

I also want to see what the long term statements from players are about actually having a S&C program with coaches that have legit credentials and their impact on the team is going forward. Ya ya ya the political bull**** aside my mind is simply blown that we had a guy who didn't have the BASIC certs.

Chise you workin without a law degree bud? Rhetorical....**** no. My mind is simply....wow.....I digress

The culture change is going to be stunning. Richt basically came in and flamethrower'ed the entire dump. Who fires a secretary? Richt. Love it.

redwine will have alot to say about that jackson also. redwine to me is underrated

Agreed I just think this youngin coming in is the goods....good problem to have....

...at one thing so far--recruiting the current draft eligible players like Coley, AQM, and Elder.

Compare this to the last bozo who ran off or failed to get any vets to stay. The fact that these guys are already buying in and are juiced to stick around after how toxic their 3 years have been with constant unrest and banners flying tells us they're buying in early.

That's a great sign because as much as the dopes want to talk about not needing guys like Coley and AQM and how it would just free up more scholarships for the nerds to fawn over before they turn on them in favor of next year's new crop, you need veteran, physically-developed talent like this if you want to win 10 or 11 and not 8 in year 1. The HC needs to convince the vets to buy in and not just do the easy thing and run them off.

Very good early sign here with all these guys sticking around despite what's probably been a pretty miserable football experience for them for 3 years.

you like to troll so here is my rebuttal:

AQM and Coley got day 3 draft grades and uncle drew told them not to go pro. nothing to do with the ol ball coach.

In Stacy coleys case he could have left early and got drafted in the 3rd or 4th round with how well he would have tested at the combine. It's a win and he is easily Miami's most talented receivers these past few years IMO. Looking for a big season between him and Brad as well as njoku and Herndon who also had a very solid season. Looking for more to emerge

Right it had nothing to with the fact that they were not going to go in the early rounds or in AQM's case not even drafted at all? Sure. When is Dalvin Cook coming Franchise?

I think the point is that Golden could not talk his juniors to scary even though they also were not going to go in the early rounds.

Don't waste your time trying to explain subtleties to mongoloids.

It's amazing to read from some fans how the returning players are the modern day equivalent of Carlo Joseph. Yeah, they may not have been future first rounders this upcoming draft but they are quality guys who in due time I think have a chance to have long NFL careers. Those are the building blocks of successful programs. I don't discount this trio coming back one bit

To paraprhase Rick Pitino,"Daniel Stubbs, Reggie Wayne and Antrell Rolle arent walking through that door." Id argue that the trio of Coley, AQM and Corn are among three of the top ten players on this team. Yeah, they kinda matter and IMO, the promise that Richt brings aided in their decisions to return
Flashback to 2010. Do Corn, AQM, and Coley stay to play for Folden, or do they leave with Streeter, Warshington and the others who shouldn't have left early?

Richt has already done a million things better than Folden. I know Folden isn't the standard at UM, but if you can't get encouraged by him recruiting three of the top 10 players on the team, then you're a loser.

One of the most significant elements of those 3 staying is that there must be some level of hope and excitement in the locker room (and I'm not talking about the type of locker room excitement CTCane derives from viewing male genitalia) that hasn't been here in a long time.

Those who underestimate the significance of buy in are idiots.

You fellas tamp down the enthusiasm before one of the internet geniuses jump into this thread
to remind us to fuel the banner planes and get them on the runway.

Wait a minute, we took the fuel out of the planes? We need to keep them fueled. Mark got complacent at UGA. This is Miami and, Cane or not, there is no way he gets 14 years without 2 or 3 NCs. I have high hopes for him, but having fallen for Golden's BS, I am not prepared to worship anyone again. One thing I liked about Butch was he knew we would fly. Mark might be lost in Bobby World of security. I expect great things from him, but he needs to prove himself on the field.

We need to slow our roll and st back and see what happens. We have a good guy now as head coach, who has not done much on the big stage. I think we are expecting miracles and setting up for failure, when they continue to go 8-4 or 7-5.

Coley wasn't going that high this year. No way, no how.
