Richt expects Willis to play in 2018.

if he has his sh*t together..he should play in the bowl game in my opinion

Is he academically ineligible? That's what this smells of, but hasn't been stated by the staff.

pretty sure he wouldn't be allowed to practice with the team if he was academically ineligible. could be wrong on that though

I mean, listen, we're talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, we talking about practice. Not a game. Not, not … Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last. Not the game, but we're talking about practice, man. I mean, how silly is that? … And we talking about practice. I know I supposed to be there. I know I'm supposed to lead by example... I know that... And I'm not.. I'm not shoving it aside, you know, like it don't mean anything. I know it's important, I do. I honestly do... But we're talking about practice man. What are we talking about? Practice? We're talking about practice, man. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We ain't talking about the game. We're talking about practice, man.

We need the kid way more next year. Let him grow up some more and realize that 2018 could be a huge money year for him.

Could be huge money years for McIntosh and Norton too. I expect them to leave and the way they've dominated this year I can't blame them. But man you see these DTs over the years that give it a year more and they are like grown men out there.

Richt doesn't seem the type to recruit them to come back but I hope he does.

UM coaches can’t stop raving about Jaquan Johnson

“He has been unbelievable the last three games - a guy who absolutely doesn’t get the credit he deserves,” Diaz said. “The No. 1 thing a safety has to be is the eraser. Anytime we create a problem, he’s got to bring his big jar of whiteout and erase it. That’s what he has done up to this point. His tackling the last three weeks has been phenomenal.”

But, there was a thread on here that said he sucks

because most guys are simple, and simple guys decide whether or not a DB sucks by how many interceptions he gets or highlight reel hits he makes.

dude has been big for us

I agree that it would be big for them to both stay and work their way up the 1st round but so many things can happen and money now can be better than getting hurt and falling in the draft. Now they both could get insurance policies to protect against a loss if future earnings and that would be great for us.

I am one who said he wasnt playing lights out the first few games..and lets face it, JJ came in with loads of hype, this is his year to shine. JC and RJ are gone. Its his secondary now....Also, notice Diaz made mention to say the "last three games"...Not the whole year. Ever since the GTech game, he has been lights out. No doubt about it.

The thread title is clearly about Gerald Willis, not Jaquan Johnson.
