Take away the defensive score long against UNC then you have a 27-10 ballgame and three extra possessions for the offense to score to add to that

No, I don't.

I used to have to lead folks into shooting situations - and I never went in unprepared. I did spend a lot of time analyzing our approaches, immediate tactics upon engaging, means of killing every SOB we went up against - and doing so in a manner where everyone went home.

Defense won that game - it sure as **** wasn't Richt's play calling or tactical analysis, and it certainly wasn't his offensive mindset.

Take away the defensive scoring - and it's just not that pretty.

Right. Richt had nothing to do with it. It’s just a coincidence that we are 12-1 in our last 13 ACC regular season games too.
 
I’ve also seen this board angry about starters in late when we had a good lead.

Just wait 'til we throw a pick six while "keeping our foot on the gas". The place will explode because we made the score look closer than it really was.
 
Being able to wear teams down by running the ball when the other team knows its coming is infinitely more important than chucking it deep to appease Methuselah, who obsessed over a guy who couldn’t blow out any ranked teams for 5 years.

I've seen Richt take his foot off the gas many times - and you'd think a coach with some experience would eventually figure out that when you have the momentum - you KEEP the momentum.

Richt playing calling has nothing to do with strategy. He looks at the list and calls a run with 8 in the box.

ehhh... If he is or if he isn't that's the nature of the internet. So long as people don't receive any un-earned benefits you can be GEN Custard if it suites you. He capitalized "Ranger" so I'm inclined to believe him until proven otherwise.lol

True, that is the nature of the Internet, which is why I question it. I’m always suspicious of people that bring this up when put in a corner. If you’re the real deal you wouldn’t be falling back on that to win a silly internet argument. The real dudes have too much respect for service to debase it that way.

Here’s what makes no sense:

EVERYBODY whining and *****ing about getting the younger players more reps.

So Richt has done that recently at the cost of the scoreboard.

So he’s playing the young guys like everyone wanted, but they’re giving up too many points (as should be expected)

So now he’s “taking his foot off the gas”?

Bull****.

Mark RIcht wants to destroy these ****ers worse than anyone here. Bet on that.
 
For my "richt better not..." post, it actually applies to Diaz.

Diaz better not play soft zone and let Francois pick us apart with ease. If we let Francois get into a groove early and goes 11-13 passing in the first half, this is going to be a tight game. Can't afford to give them easy passes/drives.
 
All this from a leader of the BBB mooks. No one took his foot off the gas more than Booch. In fact, Booch taking his foot off the gas against La Tech cost us a NC in 2000.
