This line of thinking has been prevalent on the board for so long and it needs to be killed off once and for all.
All we've seen ever since Golden arrived, with the exceptions Kuligowski, Jess Simpson, and Manny being pursued by Temple before Richt retired, is our coordinators and position coaches staying in place for years. Our coaches have not been sought after by other programs because they've been terrible. D'Onofrio, Enos, and Coley (went from our OC to a WR coach for two years).
Let's include position coaches that no one else wanted like Paul Williams and Jon Richt. Rumph and Banda, our clown show recruiters in the secondary, are heading into their fifth year with the program. Coaches staying in place doesn't represent stability, it represents that they're not wanted by competitive programs because of poor performance.
If Lashlee kills it here enough to warrant interest as a head coach, then the program will have benefited from our offense being turned around for as long as he's here. If he's not wanted elsewhere enough to earn a raise at Miami or earn a promotion elsewhere, then house is going to be cleaned anyway.
