Rhett doing the ACC commish’s job

He's right, it's rigged. And the ACC leadership is among the worst sales and marketing operations ever. The fact they're allowing SEC-ESPN to engineer this hoax is unforgivable.
They aren't allowing anything, because ultimately, ESPN is going to do whatever ESPN wants. Complaining about the obvious is just a waste of time. I agree with Lash, he's right, but at this point, it's like the coyote finally catching the roadrunner. Even if ESPN cops to doing what we all know they are doing, what can be done about it? The ONLY people that don't see through this obvious crap are SEC and B1G homers.

Only way to stop the ACC death spiral is to have an ACC team (or multiple) make a deep playoff run.

So, we are pretending that Rhett inherited the same program that Dykes inherited? WTF? This is how I know a lot of our fans don't watch college football. Dykes finally turned the corner with SMU, and then left for TCU. Lashlee inherited a program ready to take the next step and did it. Lash is a **** good coach, but let's stop pretending that SMU was the same sad sack program they were BEFORE Dykes and to a lesser extent June Jones inherited. NIL coming online was a godsend for SMU, and they've leveraged it beautifully, along with a move to the ACC.

Yeah can you imagine how different things would have been if Cristobal inherited a team with electric talent like Brashard Smith and big time contributors like Keyshawn Smith, Elijah Roberts, Jared Harrison-Hunte and Jahfari Harvey? Some guys have all the luck.

It's also very likey SMU's wealthiest donor family exceeds in resources all of Miami's wealthiest donors combined.

This isn't even counthing the Hunt Brothers (yes of Chiefs fame) who would likely occupy the #2/#3-ish slots.

SMU and Miami share numerous similarities: campus growth blocked by surrounding city (SMU has on campus stadium though...used to play in Texas Stadium once upon...)...$$$ tuition....concentrated out-of-state student body (Miami = NY/NJ; SMU = Los Angeles)...appears both want to be relevant again in futɓöl...etc...
