Revisiting our 2019 class

This type of class is why we have been stuck in the 7 win range for years. I can't wait for Mario to stack chips the way we are supposed to because my mind is blown with how bad it was and on paper it looked pretty good but nearly every kid on the list was a miss, crazy.

Zion can take over that spot this season for sure but up to this point our Punter has easily been the best player

There are good players in that class, but besides Zion and Hedley, none are the type that make an ACC championship the norm. They are the type that make 7-5/8-4 seasons the norm.
And frankly we had a 7-5/8-4 type staff and program for the past 20 years so this is about right for our recruiting class.

Zion & Hedley were gems. Clark has outplayed his ranking. Keontra & Harvey been solid. Bad luck what happened to Blissett & Brooks. Everyone else has been a bust. Missing on Payton especially has hurt us.

Honestly that entire 2019 recruiting class as a whole might be one of the worse. Top 4 QBs have all transferred. No elite RBs. A few good WRs but man it’s a rough class for everyone
