Restrepo [is not hurt]

Pretty nice to see him not just get 6 catches on a 21 YPC average....but it was a legit dam near 20 yards per catch, not just 1 super long reception with shorter passes. Had reception yards of 48, 23, 19, and 24. Only the last 2 were short (both 6 yarders).
Good point. Every catch he was making something happen and it certainly wasn’t because he had wide open space

He had me hot after that 3rd down drop but he more than redeemed himself and is a tough SOB.

I still dont want him returning kicks though.
I am okay with him on kicks as I think he is a good voice of reason back there. Directing traffic, seeing the lane, BLOCKING, telling Bsmith to take a knee if its too deep. I would however like to see some realignment. Maybe move him up to the 10 yard line with Smith playing deeper. That way if they want to avoid Smith, they need to kick it short.

The only reason I would not want him returning kicks would be out of fear he gets hurt on ST. My hope is later in the season a guy like RayRay or Robbie steps up and can be back there. But with the way X is he wont let go of that spot easily or willingly.

We beat A&M a year ago if Restrepo plays.

Honestly, we probably win 7-8 games a year ago if he didn't get hurt. He's that important.

💯

He is that dude. And now having Young on the outside and George looking like he's coming into his own makes it easier for all of them to maximize their productivity.

I'm gonna have to agree. Watching him in warm ups 1st 2 games he was telling everyone what to do, where to be. Like a 2nd QB.

These are the kinds of kids you win with. Nothing was ever given to him due to his size, so he’s had to work his *** off to get where he is, which is also where he’s always wanted to be. A leader who backs his leadership up with his play on the field. IMO, aside from TVD, he’s going to wind up being the MVP of the offense.

Love X.

Never understand any of the negativity he gets sometimes..

Kids a f’n warrior and works hard every single day and play..

If we had a roster full of X.. we would be playing in the playoffs every year.
