Restaurant Recommendation for Hogtown, FL.

Long story short, a friend of a friend that lives in godforsaken Gainesville is being generous (dumb?) enough to let my crew take over his house the weekend of our game.

Being a civilized gentleman, I figured this at least rates as nice a dinner as possible in that wasteland prior to him suing us for property damage, etc.

I managed to get a reservation at Mark's Prime that Friday evening. Any of you maniacs been there and/or have any other suggestions?

Satchel's Pizza is good.

Embers Wood Grill is good.

I would go to Mojo Hogtown BBQ just based on the name alone.

Mark's Prime Steakhouse is good.

I liked an Italian place called Leonardo's 706 back in the day, but it is closed now. They have a pizza spot north (Millhopper area).

As for Spurrier's...

If you can get in the Korean place Seoul Pocha...and get the spicy pork...it's delicious.

From the couple of times I've had to stop through, Mark's Prime and Embers are the two top places. I personally prefer Embers but they're both about as good as you can get in that dump
