Report: Arizona State transfer QB Sam Leavitt to visit Miami today

I want this dude starting for us next season, top of the board at QB right now for me with Sorsby at TT. Bring me this guy and get him another wr that can get separation against elite teams.
Yes sir!!

My top 3 were:

1) Sorsby
2) Leavitt
3) Bailey

Only one left is Leavitt so make it happen. I also said that if Simpson jumped in, he would move up ahead of Leavitt for me but I looks like he’s might stay in the draft even though I know he would be an ideal option for Miami if he jumped into the portal.

Never wanted Jojo he is cheeks, cant get separation at all man. Toney is a different animal then Jojo, but the way they spoke of Jojo you would think he was Toney levels. People keep getting burned by HS rankings and hype and carry it over for years even all the way to the league sometimes. Then blame everyone else but the player or his level of talent when everyone else around them is as talented.
At this point it seems a repeat of the Yearby vs Cook recruitment in terms of who got the better player and who didn’t.

Still hoping JoJo can somehow get on the right track this offseason and ball out next year (pause) but it’s very likely that he’s just a bust especially since he was touted to have amazing hands (pause) and he’s had terrible drops when he gets an opportunity.

Just don't see it with Leavitt. Gotta convince Simpson, that if he comes to Miami, he could be the #1 pick next year.

Yes. I was at the UM gym this morning. I didn’t see it, but one of my gym buddies came rushing over to me mid set to tell me that he had just seen Mike Rumph driving Leavitt and a woman around in a golf cart alongside the gym.
@JHallCanes - did you make it to the gym today? We need extra bench reps until the NC game.

Simpson ****ed this up. If he would’ve hit the portal last week, it could’ve been a different story.

Miami can’t risk losing Leavitt now. It has to be him.
Not sure he did. Yes another year would do him well. However, next year's class will be more loaded at QB so it might not get him drafted higher. And now, with last night's performance, Simpson might be looking a lot better than Moore.

Certainly debatable.

I subscribe to the idea of getting lots of snaps and starts in college. I am pretty sure that the stats show that QBs who don’t play a lot in college often fail in the NFL.

Simpson has like 12-14 career starts. Moore is similar, I believe. They both should come back for one more year, especially since they can now make good money in college.

It’s more about staying in the league long term than where you get drafted.

Richardson at Indianapolis comes to mind right away for me as a recent example. There are more examples out there.

The question is why wouldn't it get done this weekend? I assume all the personality things have been squashed before the visit. The visit is to talk NIL terms and/or to do a medical. If it doesn't get done, will it be about money or medical?

Oregon could jump in here late if Moore declares for the pros and I'm sure LSU is still kicking the Leavitt tires.
Ole **** too

Oh no, he definitely needs more and it would benefit him long term. I'm speaking more from just a where he gets drafted point of view.
