Where do you get that from? I'm pretty sure if Mario came here and performed, no one would allow their ruffled feathers to stop the success.

but they don't lose to FIU
many lost to FIU

Never said he wouldn’t be an upgrade but he’s hardly a savior. Not sure who is at this point

How are we in any place to be selective?

"I won't take a 10-win coach because I'm worried he can't get us to 12." We just ******* went 7-6 and are about to be 6-7 in back to back years.

That is not saying much, Canes are at rock bottom, everyone is love with Mario because he is good recruiter. I do not want a recruiter, I want a coach! We have good player but we can't coach them up. I dont think Mario can coach up. But we shall see.

y’all don’t like him for whatever reason but he’s been the best candidate that wekept passing on. He’ll be in playoffs next year if they can get a Qb to play half as good as Herbert. They’re loaded w young talent.. LOADED!

Dude went 11-2 and is about to go to the Rose Bowl. What else, exactly, does he need to do to show you he can "coach them up?"

Naw you just love Mario. I want a coach not a recruiter. I am done with we need players and recruit better! We need to coach better and I do not think Mario is that.

He went 10-2 this season and just won the Pac 10. What else, exactly, does he need to do to show you that he's a good coach?

So recruiter vs. coach...here's the thing. Our recruiting has been fine- not great, but pretty ok. We've got talent but we can't seem to win. That's coaching. So until we win the amount of games our talent says we should (let's say 9+ games 3 years in a row) we don't need better players, we need better coaches.

Recruiting's not our biggest problem, the other aspects of a HC's job are. Let's fix the biggest stuff firsts.
