Mark Richt has a track record of coaching quarterbacks, he will be fine.

No one is or should be calling for him to be pulled. However, last weeks numbers made an ok day look better than it was. I honestly think he is overrated by most of you dudes. I personally see Jacory with better decision making and a little stronger of an arm. I do not see NFL stud in his game. Maybe I am wrong, but I see average arm strength, good to great accuracy, no ability to hit anything outside the hashes that is deeper than ten yards. Where is the deep out? His best plays are right in front of him. He lives on check downs and middle of the field. NFL mlb's will feast on him like that middle of the road white dude did yesterday.

And honestly, I don't care how good of a pro he becomes. Dorsey was not a good one and I think he had better arm strength and accuracy. The numbers may not reflect it, but I'd love to see it broken down outside of ten yard throws... Ken never racked up yards in blowout losses. Not that those losses were brads fault, but when your dominating teams you do tend to go to the run earlier. I feel like he is peaked as a freshman Brad. He is the same player, I don't see the development I would expect from a guy who's regarded as well as he is. And has as many starts as he has.

And yeah Ken had some bad games, but he also had some unbelievable games that were wins against some really good teams. This is our leader and yes I expect him to not look shook by a mediocre defense. Honestly, the driskel kid out played him yesterday, that kid stood in there while getting hammered and delivered some nice balls.

I'm not freaking out, but I'm not impressed. You should not need you defense and a bunch of WR screens to protect your best player.

I'm guessing we'll start to see a lot of screens and throws out to the flat to at least try and get him in rhythm, basically a repeat of last nights second half.
I'm more concerned with his crappy body language and total lack of fire, every time he came off the field he had this befuddled look on his face.

Lot of histrionics going on here yesterday. It's not only effeminate but also the potential sign of a personality disorder. I look at games like yesterday as a net positive for us regarding Kaaya. Perhaps they provide enough uncertainty to the NFL that he isn't unanimously viewed as a high 1st rounder and then he comes back for another year to a deeper more experienced Canes team. That said, Ryan Williams throws for 500 yds and 6 TDs yesterday.

Andrew pretty much ended the thread....

Lol at all the excuses and reasoning for Kaaya... Smh

Somethings never change

simple game plan. Brad will be much better when we open up our offense. These last two games have been glorified scrimmages. He probably has not run this basic of an offense since high school. When we open it up, he will be fine.

Stopped reading at Jacory had better decision making. Best laugh in awhile. Kaaya had a five interception season last year. Jacory had five interception games. Lol

What makes you think so, when he was awful in a dumbed down offense? It wasn't his numbers yesterday, it was his decision making, accuracy and all around play. Perhaps he looked better on TV, but live he looked lost.

Just laughing at people worrying about Kaaya. He looked fine against Famu besides like 3 passes and today there was just a ton of preasure by the other team and it totally threw him in a funk but that is totally on the Oline . I am not worried about a top 5 QB in college and a top 10 pick when he comes out . He will perform when it matters.

He struggled last night for sure and the 2 picks were on him but at the same time we need to give the kid more time to throw. He's still developing under center after being primarily out of the shotgun last year so I have hope that Richt will help this kid improve throughout the season.

Remember when Dorsey went 38-2.

OP with a lame comparison.

Even NFL HOF'ers have bad games - but using those games as an excuse for Kayaa's performance (and career) is pretty weak.

At some point you all will realize that he just isn't that good. We better catch up with the times and look at dual threat guys. I'm glad Richt really likes N'Kosi.

My only gripe is if he's sporadic like this against FAU, imagine him going up against what FSU, VT, UNC will bring. Granted it's on game, yes. But it needed to happen so he knows he's not going to have a comfortable pocket all the time

With all the talk about his draft status and all, it's good for him to eat a slice of humble pie every now and then.
