Remember this guy?

This was the easiest thing to predict in all my years following recruiting. I said when this kid was at Heritage that the people guiding him should be criminally charged for what they did to him. This kid was a first round NFL talent at WR and had ZERO shot to play professionally as a QB....and yet he and his people let Meyer blow smoke up his ***. And sure enough as soon as he got there they moved him just like I said they would.

Wish the kid the best but man, what a horrible decision.

So we are blaming Rumph for this? LOL. Smh.

Anyway, these kids just don't learn. You would think at some point they would. That entire era of AH football talent looks to have been a big bust. (Snelson, McFadden, Gibson)

The guy was an athlete playing quarterback. His throwing skills were marginal. Maybe he would have been a better wide receiver but he's hardly the first Urban Meyer QB who couldn't actually throw the ball. The guy's all time greatest QB is friggin' Tim Tebow.

How many South Florida guys have gone on to have solid careers at OSU? The only two I could think of are the Bosa brothers.

Johnnie Dixon has been playing well, as has Binjimen Victor, but you're right not too many compared to the dozens that flock there each year

Nah I doubt it, he didn’t want to play anything but QB if I remember correctly.. and didn’t have what it takes to be a 1st rounder or even an undrafted Free Agent in the nfl.

Dixon had a decent year last year and Victor is their red zone guy. 7 tds last year. He will have a bigger role this year.

I know he didn't want to play anything but QB. That's literally what my post said. He got some horrible advice. This kid was a world-class athlete with prototypical size who couldn't throw a football to save his life. Those around him should have shaken him until he understood this. I believe even Al Golden tried to tell him this.

Remove Rumph from the equation and tell me why what happened with this kid doesn't burn bridges or at least rile up all the local high school corches, 7 on 7 dipsh!ts, washed up rappers and general handlers/"mentors" against Ol' Urbie Liar?

Oh waittttt. That's right. They only hold us to some idiotic standard and only rage publicly against the University of Miami.
