Remember Kiy Hester?

Momma Hester must've made a miraculous recovery, eh? Funny how that happens when you need to transfer (again) in order to try to get drafted.

Except grad transfers from Rutgers don’t get drafted.

Good point. Might as well have stayed at New Jersey State U as Billy Belichick might have taken a flyer on him. The Pats have some weird infatuation with Rutgers products.

It’s been 3-4 years. Maybe she did.

first, if you have ever had a parent who had health issues, it weights heavy on you. second, we have such a double standard with transfers haha. this kid came here, and felt it wasnt for him whether his mom was that sick, who knows. that being said, we have kids who turned us down on tv, radio, etc and fans want to let them transfer in after they regretted their decisions to go elsewhere.

The article says she actually is a bit better, but also that the grandmother and a brother have moved back home to help.

it wasn't a miraculous recovery, she's just been getting great help from Robert Marve's dad's doctor

If you f*** sticks read the article, his mother is doing better and there are other family members able to help her now. I wish this young mane and his family the best.

All true. I'm just obviously jaded when it comes to the pr cards kids sometimes play when transferring. In this case:

1) The kid got here and almost immediately you hear the rumors of homesickness and the possibility of transfer.

2) All of a sudden the mom then "falls ill". Years later and we still never hear what the "illness" was. Sure, some people are private with that but then again why? What "illness" would be stigmatized or embarrassing aside from drug addiction, HIV/AIDS or *** cancer?

3) The kid is transferring AGAIN. But this time can't use the illness card so of course NOW the momma is seemingly recovered but also has a built-in support network of other relatives that weren't available prior.

Again, I'm probably completely jaded and unfairly skeptical here but once you've played the health card the first time and then transfer AGAIN then my bs detector goes off.

Was it a surprise that D’no defense was not for him? Remember who he was suppose to play under. Got one week of that and said no way. Can not blame the kid.
