Goulds is young, maybe a high school kid or recent grad, so he just has to learn that it isn’t meant as personal to him but a response based on the recruitment antics.

I get that. Goulds is an interchangeable widget here. He’s friends with a dude who played games and now hates where he’s at. No one cares who Francois is friends with. His actions are what brought about the disdain for him - just like Jobe.

It's not about the choice, it's about how he treated others while making the choice. You can make a bad choice, and still do it with at least a shred of class. He showed zero class and was a complete *** about it. Now it's come back to bite him in the *** and I feel zero sorrow for him.
