I think the WS coach just tied Mario for the “ stupid decision” honor….takes out a kid with only 76 pitches throwing a no hitter against the number one seed and brings in a kid throwing batting practice and gives the game away…..wow I guess stupidity runs in all sports.if I was the kid he took out I’d hit the portal as soon as I got my uniform changed
 
I’d be way more mad about an SEC team being bailed out by officials at home, if the Wright St coach didn’t bring this on himself.

Absolutely. That was a Canes football move. Call it our way, but change the call before replay gets it.

I’m sorry, I don’t give a **** that the home plate umpire “kneeled” on the line…first base ump walked the same line closer and called it foul. I would have been tossed for sure…but that isn’t anything new..😂

Ole Miss tied with Murray St, 5-5 in the 6th
Saint Mary’s up on Oregon State, 3-2 in 7th
Columbia back on base, still 6-3 in the 6th

Baseball managers are the absolute worst. Seen that type of stuff happen dozens of times over the years. They just can’t help themselves with that matchup nonsense.

I get it when it’s Miami when we had the arms we had back then. A Sun Belt program can’t get ****y like that. Margin of error is much less.

They have the pitching depth to climb out of it though. Middleton will be a tough day for Alabama. Doubt Columbia can match up if they go to the final and get the rematch and we know where our arms will be in a game 4 or 5 scenario. Not ideal for us.
