NC choked away a trip to Omaha in the 8th inning at home w back to back errors, the 1st of which was a tailor-made Sunday hop, DP ball to the second baseman.

**** that 3-2 pitch in the FSU game was exactly like our first batter in the 9th today, except we got hosed and the FSU guy got a walk.

But we literally did the same thing, with less talent. They should've went further with the roster they had...

So they should have won 1 more game and made it to Omaha and that would mean Link did a good job and didnt choke? While we werent loaded we had a few studs and then a few guys who have played a ton of college baseball which I've said can make up for talent when you have been through and seen it all.

We played Louisville who was pretty good but very up and down and not ranked. Our regional was Southern Miss, Alabama, and Columbia who likely will all not be ranked in the final poll.

FSU just lost to a top 8 seed who has the roster to win it all. I'm not trying to cheer for FSU; I wish they would have lost in regionals. But they are in a much...MUCH better place then us. I mean to lose 2 first rounders, have a potential weekend starter lost at the beginning of the year and 6 other every day players/pitchers and you are back in supers and 1 inning in game 3 does you in. They are going to get hit hard again this year and may have 2 more first rounders. They will still be a favorite to at least make a super regional next year.

We won 40 games in 2022 and 42 games in 2023. That coach walked away because of the expectations realistic or not. I'm not an Omaha or bust guy...its 2025; to much talent and way to easy to get upset on a bad day. But we should be making Supers every other year on average. JD has a chance to make a lot of people eat crow with a return to Supers next year year. He also should give Cuvet half his salary and thank ACC coaches for continuing to pitch to him with guys on base.
