Refusing to replace QB coach cause for Termination?

Blake should go first for waiving the Nepotism clause in the first place on CMRs first contract. CMR is toast anyway and we need a much better AD leading the hiring process next time.

It's written into Richts extension that he is God and can do whatever the **** he wants with the exception of winning.

If Richt has full control of hiring/firing coaches then it wouldn't matter. I am pretty sure he has something in his contract that would cover his sons ****.

The recurring blow out humiliation beat down losses, year 3 with zero sanctions/probation would do for me. But yeah, I suppose nepotism too.

Would not replacing a clearly incompetent QB coach due to nepotism be cause for termination and not have to pay the buyout? Clearly there is gross incompetence here to anyone with two eyes. QB play has been atrocious.
Wish it worked like this ✔️

Just need a reason to reduce the buyout. This could at least force litigation and a reduced amount depending on how his contract is written. It is seriously negligent not to replace the QB coach after the play this year.

Grounds for terminating for cause and avoiding any buyout?!? I hate Jr on staff as much as anyone, but if this was a legitimate question then this a new level of dumb.

Explain why then? There has to be a provision in the contract regarding termination for cause. New level of dumb, around here, is pretty strong don’t you think.

Nepotism is not permitted in Georgia,, therefore I'm sure his son was protected by the terms of the contract..

Permitting it is one thing, but nepotism being the reason for not replacing him is different....isn’t it?

My point is nepotism is not a cause for termination of CMRs contract.
CMR is here for as long as he wants.
I don't like it, but i can deal with the reality..

Hopefully Richt realizes that if he goes down this path that he and his son will be forever toxic and no other school would ever consider hiring either....

It's not permitted at UGA but unfortunately we have a moron for an AD with a mediocre staff.

I’d like to know if they intentionally left Jon and Mark’s relationship off of their 990. It should have been reported on Schedule L.

Because football/staff decisions, whether family members or not, don't fall under termination for cause provisions. Those are reserved for massive improprieties, not bad coaching decisions.

Defiantly grasping at straws......

But Florida is a right to work state and insubordination can be grounds for immediate discipline including termination.
