Referees cheated us

I just laughed with the no call when the ND LB picked up and spiked I believe brown down two yards into the sideline

Refs got told at half to help ND
That was the most egregious one. Their LB picked Brown up and power slammed him at least 3 to 5 yards out of bounds. Refs said,”nothing to see here”, and ate their whistles.

Also, both intentional grounding penalties were blatant and obvious. On both occasions they didn’t initially throw a flag, but only threw one after getting together and discussing it for a couple of minutes.

The hate is real.

Also, there was a huge 3rd down play where ND was deep in our territory. Crowd was about to blow the roof off the stadium and the refs literally held the ball until the crowd finally got tired....for no reason. They legit just waited bc it was too loud. Wtf was that
Yup...it was on my side of the field and I don't know if you noticed, an ACC official took a few steps on to the field and gestured the refs to start play.

Yup...I saw that and so did a few fans around me. Unbelievable
I noticed it during the game but figured maybe ESPN’s line was off and wasn’t going to rewind at that point. But nope. Caught about 2 yards downfield.

That play call was doomed before it even happened because the whole stadium knew it was coming! ND brought EVERYONE right up the gut! No creativity in the run game! Had we just did a play action pass and gave it to lofton he’d still be running right now!
If Brown just goes behind Cooper like he was supposed to he would have had the first down. This isn’t the FCS. Understand your down and distance. We have some things to clean up the next two weeks.

I couldn't believe they didn't call either intentional grounding calls right away. How freaking obvious do they have to be to draw a flag right away? Man, those were terrible. Glad they got them right, but what the heck was there to discuss? "How can we get away with not calling this, Jim?" "We can't, Bob."

Toss in the ultra rare pickup of their holding call that was a big play to save their drive and allowing ND corners to manhandle Toney the entire second half it was embarrassingly one sided

The refs could have called holding on many plays on both teams OLs - but didn't. The flagrant penalties seemed only called against us. Do you think the ND boosters will ask the refs for a refund?

1. Holding call on Beck 1 st down run in 1 st half was total BS.It was an excellent block
2. PI call on Poyser late in game on 2 nd down and 20 was flat out thievery, he never touched the receiver
3.2 post play personal fouls on us, none on ND ( who were chippy with us ) were BS
4. They threw flag for holding on ND late in the game and then said there was no foul( if so why was flag thrown in 1 st place)
5. Worst offense: gave ND 4 TOs around last 2 minutes that allowed them to stay in game

With all the grabbing Christian Gray was doing, he should've been on an episode of Law & Order: SVU.

Dirty!! Been that way forever. Stinkn irish will always have the zebras. Wish there was accountability for this BS. They would NEVER be anything more then a mediocore team without the help. Score was not an indication on how we beat there *** yesterday.

Don’t believe I have ever seen the referees discuss and overturn an OL holding penalty before…🤔

One of the post play personal fouls was because dudes helmet came off and he continued to play. That's always a 15 yard penalty. Only penalty they got right the whole game.

No offense to the OP but this thread can be made after any game of every single season. Just one abomination after another.

I didn’t watch one UM game last year where I felt like the refs were trying to influence the game.

Last night was different level. Expect it from Big10 and SEC refs, not ACC. Usually the ACC calls ticky tack targeting compared to other conferences. Not missing defensive holding and PF’s right in front of them.

I rewatched the final 4 minutes. ND called all 3 of their timeouts at the end. There is now a 2 minute warning timeout at the end of each half, like in the NFL. Unless ND had already called a timeout before the 4 minute mark of the 4th quarter that I don't remember, they definitely did not get 4 timeouts. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think so.

I mean it's so obvious. I literally posted when we scored that 3rd TD that this next drive was were the refs will try and tip the scales and as sure as taxes they did.

Anyone notice on the first intentional grounding call on Carr, that it was like 2nd and 3.
Then the refs finally call IG, ref says loss off of down, still 2nd down and that’s what they used?

Should have been 3rd and forever. Though didn’t matter as they got the 1st down, but the refs gave them an extra down.
that's on our coaches, **** we enough coaches on the sidelines
