Redwine draft and nfl potential

Wonder what he really runs. I know He tested great at greentree but if he indeed runs somewhere in the 4.4 range that would be great for him and make him rise in the draft imo. I dont See that type of speed on film but in the video I watched of him running his 40 fhe other day it looks like he has great form running it so we will see

He's a little light for an NFL safety, I don't think he's 200 lbs. If he can either add weight or prove his strength at the Combine he'll be drafted around 4th-5th round. If not, he becomes viewed as a tweener of sorts at the NFL level. You just don't see many safeties below 200 lbs in the NFL.

He's typically weighed and measured in the 6'0" 205 range.

Unless he comes in malnourished at the combine/pro day, I think he's fine. If he runs in the 4.5's or better...he's a rock solid prospect and you'll see him being called a "riser" throughout the process.

I really like him as a prospect.

I don't think that 205 number is accurate. I'm seeing a few mentions of his weight and they're between 195 and 200:

He's going to get drafted, i think late 4th early 5th, and he will play for a decent amount of time in the NFL. This kids progress as a player was amazing to watch and should really quell all of the Banda is just a bartender jokes. For the last three years we have had really good safety play and Banda should get a lot of credit for that.

He was at the Senior Bowl

Sheldrick Redwine, Miami | HT: 6-0 3/8 | WT: 202 | HAND: 8 7/8 | ARM: 32 3/8 | WING: 76 1/2

That is what he measured in at.

Its Jaquan Johnson thats undersized.

Jaquan Johnson, Miami | HT: 5-10 3/8 | WT: 186 | HAND: 8 3/4 | ARM: 30 1/2 | WING: 72 3/4

Good for Redwine because at that weight he will definitely be drafted. Minkah Fitzpatrick was right around that weight last year at the Combine (204) and Redwine still has time to add weight before the Combine.

Some will view Redwine as a safety, some will view him as a corner. I am intrigued to see what he runs in his agility drills, etc.

Jaquan Johnson is looking like a Jimmie Ward special. Teams will like him, but not many will know how to use him. That hybrid safety, nickel player is one that not every team can get right because their scheme doesn't call for one. Jaquan is going to be one of those players that only a fraction of the teams will have rated high.

I think Redwine will test well and be seen as a late round project with potential. 5th/6th seems right.

Bottom line he has the measurables and when you put on the tape he makes plays. I really can't recall crucial mistakes he's made the past two seasons. Early on at CB he was shaky but very good at FS.

Anywhere from a 5th round to a UFA that gets a couple of invites.

Shows he can be a heavy hitter and a big play guy, but has been caught in blown coverages.

I could see him ending up as a 2nd/3rd string guy put into the rotation that is a solid special teams player.

Could see him getting drafted late and becoming a starter like Colbert did, definitely improved every single year to warrant NFL consideration that's for sure
