**Recruiting Update 2-17**

We haven't offer Richard Yeargin III either another highly rated kid from U school.

Yet apparently we're recruiting Scarlett pretty hard. Lets not act like we just irrationally don't like this school.

It is something to consider that University school plays in a weak district, or so I glean from Blustein and Joe Rose. I have no clue as to whether that has anything to do with why our staff seems to think their kids are overrated, but is a possibility.

I know we offered but how do you know we are recruiting hard? The kid is a lock from it what it sounds like. He wants to stay close to his mom at least for now.

Something just doesn't smell right with the Quincy Wilson stuff. It can't be as simple as the coach don't like his game...can it? Just get the feeling there is more to the story as a whole.

Or maybe it is.

Another Skai Moore situation. Maybe our staff has guys rated higher on their board they feel more confident in.

How can you feel "confident" in anybody that isnt "committed"??? I would hope this staff learned some lessons from this past NSD.

The problem I have w/ the Skai Moore fiasco, and honestly really w/ this staff in general, is wassup with the lack of communication??? Jawand Blue knew that his scholarship depended on Keith Brown so why not the same level of communication w/ Skai Moore..... he never heard a bleep from the UM staff and out of nowhere he gets an offer the night before NSD?? which means talent was never the issue w/ him...

I mean how is it completely impossible for Quincy to be recruited and/or receive an offer when Golden is out there offering "Temple caliber" athletes all the time.... i mean we all know Golden is going to have a couple of Ufamba Kamala's and Thurston Ambrister's this upcoming class as well.

Temple caliber? Lulz.

Some of those Temple athletes AG recruited and coached at Temple are in the NFL so they cant be all that bad. Please list all these Tempe caliber athletes u are referring to.

I can undertand the whining about QW since he is a 2014 kid but Moore was last cycle so please move on already. U obviously love to hate on this team and troll this site so Im looking forward to reading your whiny porsts in the future.

speaking of university school, I see Jordan Scarlett made the following Tweets somewhat concerning us

" University of Miami >>>>"
" If ray Lewis ever talked to me before the game I will go HAMM!"
"Miami hurricanes has all the talent in Florida and let them get away"

My best friend is actually a family friend of Scarlett and says that he grew up a canes fan and he is really high on us, so who knows.

That's what they all say. Then they end up playing anywhere but Miami.

The point about Skai Moore had everything to do w/ the subject of Quincy Wilson but since you are a troll you dont get it.

I never said recruiting "Temple" talent is a bad thing and if you werent so busy trying to be the troll that you are then you would have seen my real point in that post. Temple is a BCS school now but since Golden coached there, when they barely had a football program, i used that reference to make one of my actual points, which is Golden recruits guys that arent high on anybody's radar every year and then tries to develop them. Just like he did at Temple..... get it???

Thurston Ambrister is a solid back-up LB, but when he was coming out of high school he wasnt considered BCS caliber at the time. Who knows about Ufamba Kamala or Corey King for that matter..... they can turn into studs like Wilkerson did out of Temple or end up wasted schollies just like Darius Smith.

So if Golden can take reaches then I dont understand why he cant at least recruit legit talent that wants to come to Miami, that was my real point.... now go troll someone else.

He JUST transferred from Chaminade. Let's not jump on this like it's some U-School bias. Kid hasn't even played in 7-on-7 for them or a real practice even. Everybody take a breather and stop jumping to short sighted reactions.

This time last year, alot of people thought that we would not pursue Stacy Coley either. I still don't think its over for Wilson.
