Spring football season followed by a fall football season is utter physical abuse. Kids may have a 4-6 week break between the end of a season and start of practice for the next. And politicians, medical experts, university presidents and conference commissioners talk about looking out for the student-athlete, keeping them safe . . . hypocrisy at its finest!!

That’s a huge overreaction. the title teams play 15 games in 4 months. You don’t think you could play 10 games in feb-April then play another 10-12 games in the fall? That’s 20-22 games in 10 months with a 3 month break. how Much worse is it than having 20 some spring practices and 3 scrimmages
