What I didn't anticipate was him being worse than both Shannon & Folden, not even Shannon & the Orange tie ever lost to FAU/FIU. That's a new low in Miami Corching, that's about as bad as it can get.

This makes Shannon's loss to USF look extremely acceptable. Even Al Golden would have woodshedded FIU. This team is too talented to be this pathetic. It's 100% coaching.
 
Let's be honest, It took 10 to 15 minutes for a hiring search. They already knew not to hire within a failed regime, they already knew not to hire a Temple coach, So they bypassed all that they learned and did the same **** AGAIN!

Can we go out west to hire a coach! If Miami is so prestigious hire a competent coach!

All their coaches suck, (coach L was good), in all sports, the university is not even in the top 50 academically !!! They suck there, too!!

I supported Miami my way, and that was financially, and I'm just fed up. Baylor are back with a vengeance, so is Pedo State I wonder why.

Two years before he was hired I knew this admin wanted him at HC because most fans did. And whatever the SJW fans say that's wtf we do. The administration there is toxic to the football program and they don't care cause there making money.

the AD and HC are beta males. with the superkunt regime running athletics at Miami , is this a coincidence ?

The yacht gave me a cause for concern that he thought this job would be a piece of cake. Him strolling in like he has just won the national championship with all the assistants was way too much bravado for a team that just was 7-6 the year before and was blown out by Wisconsin. But I soaked it up and thought he knew what he was doing.

I even gave him a pass after the GT game because he had the 3 game winning streak and I honestly thought he had figured it all out. I really did.

Then Saturday came...and I knew he wasn't the guy. Even if we had come back to win, I was done.

I honestly hope Manny rights the ship next year and takes full advantage of whatever good graces this administration give him to try and salvage his HC career. Because Manny is HUGE on data and analytics and the data shows, when you get fired from UM..you never get a HC gig again.
 
If I’m being real it was after the Central Michigan game I know he wasn’t the one but it was the GT game that killed any real hope for me. It was obvious that he was in over his head but when he said this was a rebuild it broke me as a fan and I was done with him. I really can’t believe we are at this point again and it’s only been 11 games.

half the board shouted, "bring on bama"

I had my doubts after unc, but he's a first time coach thrust into a tough situation with a newbie staff

then the gatech game had me at 50/50.. at that point I was willing to give him another season, but only if he fired the entire staff top to bottom.

the icing was FIU, our team could have won that game by themselves with no coaches.. i'm dead serious.

And the fact that Baylor, with a limited history of very good teams, is very good shows that you don't have to be the most well-resourced program to win. You need the right AD to hire the right HC.
