Haha. At this point it's about realistic expectations with him, Chise. I'm 100% cool with Richt essentially being CEO of football and just using Blake as an intermediary to Frenk and the BoT. Blake could focus entirely on raising money and selling tickets for all I care at this point. Pray to God that we don't need anyone to hire a football or basketball coach anytime soon or attempt to deal with the NCAA disirregardless.
 
Clean slate from me. I was getting very angry with him though. It seems like he is competent and can be a very good AD. I had my doubts.

Also, lmao at those saying he should've fired Golden earlier. He never was in a position to make that call as it was above him. As he matures in his position, I'm sure he'll gain more control, but people were complaining just to complain without many facts supporting their words.
 
James may be fortunate UGA fired Richt but the same could be said of Michigan, Alabama, and Ohio State. Harbaugh would still be at the 49ers if he could get along with ownership. Saban might have stayed at the Dolphins if he were winning. Ohio State would still have Tressell had he not lied to the NCAA.

There is a good bit of the posters on this site that turn everything into a **** comment. Well it's obvious what's on their mind.

Shalala was publicly standing with Al. I don't care if Ed Reed was the AD, if the president is behind the coach then he isn't going anywhere.

Fake is the greatest. He gets credit for Richt getting fired at UGA. He gets credit for Richt being a UM alum who saw a sleeping giant without a HC and jogged here for the job.

Fake gets zero blame for openly mocking fans who were calling for Folden's head. He gets zero blame for repeatedly stating that Folden would be the HC for the entire 2015 season and then being told to fire him a few days later by the people actually making the decisions at UM.

He gets zero blame for allowing UM to turn into a toxic hellhole by clinging to Folden way past his expiration date. Oh what's that you say, cumbreathers? He had no power a few months ago but now he's suddenly in charge of everything and responsible for everything?

Those of jizzy breath are trying to persuade those with brains that Fake had no power to fire Folden but then they want to give him the credit for firing Folden. What a bunch of smelly maxipads these dumb losers are.

The signs deal was the worst thing Blake has done. I didn't like the signs at the basketball game because we should be supporting that team too but I still thought it was petty for them to take the signs. But as far as keeping Golden too long, I think that was Shalala and right now Blake is doing a good job

I agree, although I would have like Butch hired the day after Golden was fired. Blake caught huge break when UGA fired Mark. While not my first pick, Mark was in many ways the perfect hire. My only concern is he comes from two schools where coaches were given a lot longer to deliver than he will ever get at The U. That said,I think he beats noles this year and we all go a little nuts. It will feel go.
