Do some changes need to happen on offense? Yes but Diaz is dealing with better situations(talent and depth) at every position on his side of the ball and still allowing below average qbs to look like heisman contenders against us meanwhile Richt has a sh*tty oline at times, sh*tty inaccurate qb , lack depth at running back, receiver and tight end not to mention loss of best rb, receiver and tight end. Hard to overcome all of that. Long season and glads it’s over. Its still all about the U, good season and it didn’t finish the way we wanted it too but we made strides and have a great recruiting class coming in. On to 2018

If we have good QB play next year a lot of fans who give Diaz a "pass" will quickly start to turn.

Reality is both sides of the ball showed significant weaknesses and your excuse-filled post is not sufficient quality for a new thread.

In reality if you look at all the games. Our QB usually underperformed vs our competition. Get Al and his stinch out of here. CMR has some slack but he better adjust to the times with play calling.

Everyone starting new threads but you feel justified to single me out, was that even that necessary to come off like that ? Sheesh... And how is it an excuse when it’s the **** truth?

Explain to me... if there are significant talent gaps on our roster still...especially with our three best offensive players out, how this is an “excuse”? I get folks are upset, and I don’t believe the coaching staff is above criticism, but the “no excuses” mindset is a bit bizarre.
I have been on the boards for a long time.... I get the boards are emotionally driven, but I am always baffled when legitimate reasons are offered and folks reject them because they believe the only answer seems to be to win all the time.
What I saw was a coaching staff with no confidence in their QB trying to figure out some way to score... and a defense that was good enough to win until they got gassed at the end of the game. I also saw unbalanced officiating that we are not talented enough to overcome yet.

bottom line. you cant expect to dminate when cager is your #1 wr, you have no rb and te depth, your ol is weak, your dbs are slow. and you have redwine starting at safety. oh yea, and the refs are blatantly against you. rosier is a scrub but those first two ints werent his fault. KC overrated mcdermott missed a block and a no pi call.

I've sat here and read every single post since I arrived home from Hard Rock last night. Hadn't written a single post. You started a new thread repeating things you have said multiple times in other threads already going on. It has nothing to do with you. If you'll note, I addressed your post and not you.

Tough to ask college defensive players to keep it together and shut down the other team when we are constantly going 3 and out. This **** happens in the NFL so expecting them to handle it better than pros is not fair. If the D doesnt show up next year with us having a better QB and Rbs then i would start to question Manny Diaz.

First of all, your demand for an explanation is funny.
Second of all, there aren't legitimate reasons in there. Only one-sided perspectives.
Third of all, if you've been around the boards a long time, you've likely read some of my posts. I am virtually emotionless and do not expect to "win all the time."
Lastly, what you saw on offense - the type of excuse you offered - can be applied to certain coverages used and approach to defense based on personnel limitations, too. You know why it's not being offered? Because the reality is both sides of the ball (in terms of coordinating, which is the supposed topic of this thread) showed significant weaknesses.

They can’t even get off the field. It’s not just the fact that the offense is horrible on 3rd down, the defense has been the last 3 games too

so is Pitt more talented than we are ? I want you to say that Pitt has less “talent gaps” than we do so I can have a good laugh . Wisconsin has what 16 4-Star recruits ? We have 40+ . You’re making excuses . Rosier is more than talented enough for us to have won that game . We got out coached . The coaching staff sure seemed to be confident in him when we came out an called 3 or 4 straight passes downfield until the pick in the end zone . Run the **** ball ! Ok Let’s run wildcat 3 Times in a row and on 2nd and long after getting stuffed the play before . What about the horrible play calling in the red zone right before Badgely missed the FG . Was that because we have no talent ? The coaching needs to get better period . We overcame and got lucky a lot of times this year but luck runs out against better coaching
