Realistic Game Prediction from a Toledo Fan

I see everybody wants to yuck it up about Rosier, but he did torch this team LY to the tune of 75%, 300 and 3td's. If he does that again this gets ugly.
And if he puts two halves together as impressive as his first half performance against them last year, we get rolled. He had a great second half, but he might not last until the second if he starts as poorly as last year.

He was 8 of 12 passing in the first half. He didn't do much because we were running the ball pretty well in the first half. It was the defense and the defense alone who put us in a first half hole.

Toledo absolutely has a chance to win this game thanks to these three

Yea I realized I’m to young and don’t want to stress my hair away, so I’ll just close my eyes every time the punt teams crawls out

UM 42 Toledo 10 Rosier goes 12-15 for 190 and 2 td and then Perry comes in and throws 2 more TD and runs for a 3rd .

While I would of course love for Toledo to get a win this big, it's not going to happen. Last year Toledo had an NFL quarterback and the Canes had been off for 3 weeks. This year, Toledo has a quarterback who hasn't really played in a real game yet (I don't count VMI), the offensive line only really goes about 6 deep due to some carry over injuries, and the last real game the defense played, it was lit up by Appalachian State. Toledo simply does not have the right ingredients for a big upset. If the Canes simply show up, they will score 42. If the Canes start hot, they could score 50-60 plus. This has the makings of an ugly game. Yes, Toledo has some great wide receivers and respectable running backs, but I don't think the offensive line will be able to keep Miami out of the backfield.
Good call
