Truthfully, I wish he was at Miami with a new staff as an assistant. Miami needs a big man coach.
Danny was 20 years ahead of his time as a player.
Every coach wants a 6'10 big with his skillset.

Ate you saying you want Danny Manny to be the HC at Miami?

This could get interesting. He has Clemson heading in a positive direction.
No, I don't want him to coach Miami but he does have more kids from Florida on his roster than Miami.

Honestly, I don't want anymore "proven" "established" "veteran" coaches in Coral Gables.
Those guys win the press conference and flame out in three years.
Those guys only come to Miami to start the retirement phase of their life.
Miami needs a young, energetic hard working guy who wants to build the program onto the monster it should be.
Just my opinion.

Some Mike Krzyzewski guy seems like he's gonna be available...stepping down after next season, coached at some place in N Carolina called "Duke"? That just sounds made up.
 
Coach K is at least a step above Coach L, right? A beats B, etc.

I emailed him we might consider changing to "Kanes" if he signs on... even as "AD".

Trend now is to hire coaches with no college head coaching experience whatsoever, e.g., Scheyer, Hubert Davis, Juwan Howard, Mike Woodson, the Gonzaga asst at Arizona, etc.
