The new Miami staff coming in should carry one, and under special circumstances maybe at the most two "recruiter" types.

So have your pick. It can be beard. It can be Corley. It can be Ice. It can be Trob. But it can't be all of them.

Folks, the HC doesn't run individual. His job is to hire guys who can coach the heck out of the players, teaching them fundamentals. A massive problem Miami has had for the last decade is we don't have enough guys who actually can teach the kids. You can recruit the most talented team of High School kids, but if they don't get better, they ain't winning.

I enjoy ignoring most of what you say, but calling Beard a "recruiter" type makes you completely blind to the progress he's made with our WRs.

You know you can be a great recruiter AND be a great coach. Kevin Beard and T Rob are definitely not just recruiters
 
Here's Golden French Fries trying to dictate how Richt should hire his staff. Why did we even bother hiring Richt, when we had such a football genius in our midst.
 
Don't expect more than 1 or maybe 2 guys from current staff.
 
No need for coley with Richt here kinda the same not really but you catch my drift beard is a must really has made a difference to these receivers and ice seems like a cleaner version of trob so there you go

HAHAHAHAHAHA it must KILL YOU that Botch wasn't even in 2nd place. Funny how I don't see him being offered anywhere else either.

If Richt doesn't get fired or doesn't share Larranaga's agent (which I didn't previously know), we're likely looking at Butch as our current coach.

Beat me to it....you can have a staff of great coaches that are also great recruiters. It don't necessarily have to be either or.

There are guys on staff that I'd be ok with going forward, but there's nobody who MUST be kept. Nobody has proven themselves so great that they can't be replaced, and it's fairly important that a HC work well with his assistants.
