Re-watching the Cal game from last year

It was awesome. You could feel the soul get sucked out of the stadium as we were coming back

My biggest porst of all time is saying Harris/Powell were better than Kinchens/Williams after the USF game

Such a bad pick. The last quarter and a half was the stuff of legends though.

Mendoza had a good game but idk how much credit I give him vs. our swiss cheese secondary. Our DB's were on the dark side of the moon - their guys could not have been more open that night

Was a surreal day

The devastation from the hurricane in the Carolinas was still being felt. We had been busting balls all day trying to get resources together with the local community and outreach programs

Finally end the day turning on the game and we are getting **** on. Was so exhausted we just went in and crashed out

Woke up to like 100 texts

As someone that’s been through probably 15-20 hurricanes in my life I’ve been so blessed to never have had to deal with the loss of everything so I can only imagine the feeling but at least the 100texts were good news …

Yeah we were some of the lucky ones

Anyway just one of those days that will be seared into my memory forever. Ended up watching the rest of the game at like 6am because I didn’t believe it

I went through a couple of bad ones in Key West .Donna was prob the worst one which hit on my late sister Donna’s birthday.

But the worst one I’ve seen that was close was Katrina….Now THAT was a bad hurricane…We had moved into our new house on the north side on Lake Ponchatrain in Dec. of ‘04….Katrina hit on my wife’s and my stepsons birthday on Aug. 29Th of ‘05 and the house we moved out of which had never gotten water even close to it had about 4 ft of water in it.

All the damage I had to the new place was a little piece of flashing above the garage.Again very Blessed.
