RB Room

That picture makes it look like Lyle is as big and tall as Fletcher. I thought Fletch had 2-3 inches and 20+ pounds on Lyle.

One of these days people are gonna realize what cameras do to people in photos these days

You want to be on the ends. If you’re in the middle you’re gonna look tiny

Trust me I’m surrounded by dorky fitness influencers the angles are everything

Lyle isnt small he came in 6 foot 200 Fletch is listed at 6'2 220. In reality probaly only a inch and 10 pound difference in them. Lyle looks jacked too. Them boys look good thats for sure bet we lean alot more on the run this year. Should help Beck alot theres enough bodies at WR a couple will step up. We got tge Qb should be a fun year!!!

lol the disrespect Fletcher gets is wild. Keep sleeping on him this year

I just hope that our “jacked” RB room leads to more productivity and better results on the field. Give me a Damien Martinez type player all day.

Remember 2019 when we had 3 jacked running backs…Lorenzo Lingard, CamRon Harris and Robert Burns. Harris was the only one worth a crap. Didn’t help that our o-line might have been the worst Miami o-line in the history of the program.

We might have a better squad this year even without Ward.
That’s a big discussion and probably has its own thread. The top qb taken is a tough one to replace.

Now with respect to the running back room I think with the addition of char we have solid depth. Lyle takes a step hopefully. Fletcher works on ball security. Pringle comes in to break their backs with a breakaway run maybe. We should be solid. But Martinez was a horse and we will miss him

We better.

After watching two teams play for the Natty and neither of their QBs were super talented we need to be exponentially better where we were weak. If we do that and beck is somewhere between decent to good at best and we’ll have a better season than last year

Last sentence is key. That OL was just awful. I feel sorry for any RB to have to play beyond that bad of an OL.

As far as those 3 rbs, Lingard was way overrated and Burns couldn't stay healthy. The only one that was actually a big-time talent was Harris.

Deejay Dallas was actually the best running back on that ‘19 squad. I just didn’t include him because he wasn’t as “jacked” as the other 3 mentioned. Wonder how much better he would have looked behind just an average o-line.

As for these guys this year, we’ve already seen that Lyle has quick feet, balance, vision, speed, explosiveness. Once he gets the patience down and pass protection, look out. Maybe this is his year. He wasn’t better than Martinez or Fletcher last year, not even close. Maybe as a home run threat only. We really haven’t seen Brown play yet. Just highlights of him. Does a lot of things well, but nothing really stood out to me. Obviously, very productive for a true freshman, but also major step down in the competition. I’m in wait and see mode with him. Good depth piece, hopefully more.

What disrespect are you talking about? I don’t know anybody disrespecting him. I will say this, though, he has had a fumbling issue and practice and he better get that fixed. But other than that, he’s a solid as it comes.
