Doubt it'll ever happen but I've wanted to get Willie Simmons from FAMU for a while now. Only makes $300k. LSU pulled off a similar moving bringing in Frank Wilson from McNeese State.

He recruited me in high-school at MTSU. I think he was even OC back then and Stockstill has always been running air-raid principles in his passing game.

Not 100% positive but he told Deion no. That was all the talk in Tally around that time.

First skill needed in this role: Beast recruiter.
Second skill needed: Develop your backs so they understand pass pro schemes (how to recognize a blitz, etc.)

Ain’t no coach teaching a kid how to read space and make a cut. Those are innate skills.

Bring somebody that is a tireless recruiter and goof ”developer” and not the other way around.
Completely agree, being a former RB, you either have it or you don't. You can fine tune their skillset to a higher level, regarding running the ball, but pass pro is the only teachable thing there.
Usually your RB coach , is super relatable to your players and ends up being the most buddy coach on the team and in turn your best recruiter.
Great post.

I've seen Malik Rosier on several video's and kid is smart. Ex-QB's seem to fit in well as coaches. I'd love to see on staff at some position.
what has he done to deserve to be on a spot? did he coach somewhere else first to make his bones? or do we give him a position on the staff with no prior coaching experience. for that matter, let's sign duke johnson up and shockey as TE coach and brett "turkey maple" romberg as OL coach (anyone know why i call him turkey maple?).
