Buddy was on the phone with Tulsa like...Might be the quickest Portal entry and sign that I’ve ever seen….
I feel like he would've been THAT GUY at FIU. They usually always have one really good player on offense every year.
That would be a good idea if it could work exactly like that.FIU has always been poor. Doubt their NIL is in the top 100.
OT, but it's why I was hoping our NIL collectives could come up with an arrangement where we park kids there and treat them like a glorified Prep/Juco program. I'd love to see a kid like Coleman throw for 3500+ yards next year there and then transfer over to Miami in the offseason ready to compete for the starting spot with real snaps in 2027. Lots of guys we know won't play outside of mopup duty could benefit.
I think schools will increasingly have buyouts in their revenue share/NIL deals so they can get paid when other schools poach their talent. Especially if you're a small or poorer school you'd be stupid to not do that. At least you can get some return on the investment for guys you identified, recruited, and developed. That would be a good idea if it could work exactly like that.
Nominee for post of the year lmaooooo..Buddy was on the phone with Tulsa like...![]()
Nominee for post of the year lmaooooo..
not even the chongas couldve kept him in sweetwater.
Im willing to bet tulsa has more in nil and Miami central n Miami Northwetsern has more fans than FIU does locally.Sick part is…FIU was probably nearly a TD fav over Tulsa by the end of last year. Maybe the new Tulsa hire has generated some excitement though. But then again FIU has a new coach as well lol
