Well one issue is Miami plays at a snails pace. There just aren’t enough offensive plays for all these guys to get touches. Miami running like 55 plays a game.

Dawson needs to get more tempo and get more plays in. You can wear teams down the same as running all day. **** tempo likely helps you run more cause the defense won’t be set

Some of that was intentional. We were losing the TOP battle. Defense was on the field for a long time. We could not afford quick 3 and outs. On DVD’s second pick the defense was gassed from the prior drive. They got to sit on the bench for two plays and were right back out there. And subsequently gave up a TD. They made sure not to let that happen again and send a winded defense back out. It’s always interesting to watch the game within the game.

Prior to the last 2 games we were averaging 66 plays a game. The low was in the low 50’s against A&M. With the new clock rules I don’t think that’s at a snails pace.
