OP does have a point that Ray isn't brought up as much as someone of that stature and I find that true through nearly 20 years of posting. Perhaps it's just a given that he's great. He's certainly not overlooked though and I get what he was saying.

Ray is revered by Canes fans...Definitely not seeing the disdain/hate for him....Right up there with Ed Reed as the greatest Canes ever

The only time Ray did anything to remotely embarrass the U or its fans was during his Painted On Hair Era....

You guys on here are brutal I swear most of you got picked on in grade school for wearing your brothers clothes or using food stamps at the store and now you guys become comedians desperate for people to laugh at your failed jokes as stand up comedians. So many miserable people. After we win Saturday you guys are gonna say “ so what we beat Bethune-Cookman and continue to complain. “

Ray was great as a player going through the stages. From high school to college, from college to pro. He was just greatness all through the stages. His greatness peak wasn’t at Miami and that’s why he’s not. There are better LBs at Miami than Ray Lewis. Ray won in the league. Ray Lewis wishes he was Dan Morgan in college.
