It's only 3 games in, but I see a difference on the D-line with penetration, getting off blocks etc.

The D-line may have a little more penetration, but we need some sacks. Until we are able to create pressure with just the front 4 we will just be a average defense. If we give Cincinnati time to throw we will have a hard time out scoring them.

I think our dline will smash cincy. The QB from nebraska was prob the best runner (<fsu) miami will see all year. If a QB cant scramble I think the D will molest most o-lines. but then again i did hear alot of nebraska fans talk about how there oline sucks. so maybe the d pressure is all based on ****ty o-line play.

Hard to judge them off of a mobile QB like Armstrong. (who is basically a RB playing QB)..But we are getting there. We are more improved I can say that much. I like us against ProStyle type QBs to generate a lot of sacks. But against mobile guys, we will need a spy. (like when Kenny Phillips spyed Marcus Vick that year and completely took him out the game..2005 I think it was)...I think that is a good job for a guy like McCord.

The difference is having AQM and Kendrick Norton.

Melvin is a non factor.

They certainly are a factor I'll throw in Chad Thomas in there because he has been in the backfield a lot as well. Melvin seems to be a great hire he is getting a lot out of courtel Jenkins and Calvin huertelu

In their defense, they haven't been allowed on the other side of the line of scrimmage much in the last 4 years. Might take some time for them to remember from HS what the **** to do once back there.

In the nebraska game we had a pass rush, but couldn't finish the play. Scramble QB's seem to always have their way with our defense. I think overall the DL has played better than last year.

I like GRACE as a spy

Armstrong was making ridiculous plays both throwing and running the ball. Outside of GT's running QB, I don't think we see someone like that the rest of the year.

and their ol got away with some holds and pushes in the back.

Seen the DL still doing to much patty cake. Especially with Chad seen him several times in frog stance and just read and react instead of attacking up field. Until this whole garbage of a coaching staff is gone you will never see what this defense will be capable of doing.

I've seen nothing but chad going up field, maybe you are getting him mixed up with trent who shouldn't be out there playing

What is it guys? Are coaches a factor or not. You cant blow up every conversation on this board with its all Al's fault and then not give credit to coaches that are making a difference.

The whole lot of you are delusional cry babies. We all know if he doesn't do what we need him to do he is gone. So why harp on it over and over again just to destroy this season for people who still support the team.

The idea that if somehow Al figured some shiat out and we won a title this year and you would not be happy says it all.

Also the problem with Miami is fans don't go to the games. This administration just like the previous one will not pay for a top notch coach unless attendance figures can absorb the pay increase for a top notch coach.

The Al experiment is already in motion and his destiny is set in stone and there is nothing you can do about it. If you don't want another experiment then get off these boards crying about shiat you cant control and help the U by going to games.

Men solve problems and biatches complain and cry. Which are you?
