bottom line, you can't explain this hire. guy got fired after his team won a super bowl. smh he has 30 years experience and is coaching at FIU?

Coaches don't get fired after winning Super Bowls; the coordinators get hired away. One N.E. Coordinator got hired as Head Coach and "begged" Coach to go with him for his new team. So Coach Melvin got hired away after S.B.

That's an outright lie. The next job Melvin took after being fired as the Patriots' DL coach in 2001 was to coach the same position group at Rutgers. Both of New England's coordinators from their 2001 Super Bowl-winning team stayed with them through 2004.

At least do a little research before lying so blatantly and pulling complete horse s*** from your ***.
