Random Observations on the Pitt Game

I’m completely fine with firing the entire offensive staff and letting whoever we hire as OC bring whoever he wants (yes I know Mirabel isn’t going anywhere)

Addae and the Dline coaches should probably get axed as well… the DB group outside of Kam and Rique(self coached players) all looked terrible

The Dline was also a joke especially the defensive ends except the transfer Messidor who has been exposed to minimal coaching here

Big Joe is meh, besides Mesidor, the entire DL was feast or famine and overall underperformed based on their pay grade

If Mark Richt was calling plays in 2022 we have at least 8 wins…. What Gattis did to this offense and team is unforgivable

Until he is gone this team is dead to me

There's not a coach on this team that should keep his job really. But most will.

James Williams i am sorry bro but you are terrible at safety. All you do is miss tackles, take bad angles and get penalties.
Bingo on JW, coaches, Fields seems a good keep, WR & OC, sorry I can't take another season of check with me (gone), Mirabel Keep, RB coach keeper, QB coach yikes. Defense does some good things, creates TO, sacks, (but you can't have the offense turn it over as much as it did) zone blitz got to go, secondary coach questionable, to many bust, and I didn't see any young DB's stepping up. Dunston, Graves, Curtis, Ahmauri, Horton, were they all busts. I think we need to really start assessing the talent from South Florida, I think it might be a bit overrated.

Im on the other side of that opinion. I do think Jake Garcia could be QB1 going forward.
Garcia and Brown both are in need of some coaching. Neither one is a finished product right now, but I'm of the opinion, that both could be QB1 going forward, giving the type of coach that Mario hires for the next OC/QB. I'm not ready to throw them out at this time because they are not ready RIGHT NOW. They're both technically freshmen. I can say without a doubt tho, that the Gattis/Ponce collaboration is not conducive to producing a QB1. It has been a unmitigated disaster. If those two are still employed by the Univ. of Miami football team next year, then our next crop of QBs better come in as finished products. If we have to rely on those two pendejos to coach us up a QB1, then we have seriously failed.

I said when he was coming out of hs he is not a safety and got scolded on here for it

Thanks.

I do not share the opinion that Brown can be a legit QB1, at least not in the next 2+ years. We knew coming in that he was a 3-4 year project recruit who could end up switching positions.
