Rambo (vs Hurns)

My point was that if one team shuts down our passing for one game, it’s going to be tough for him to get all those yards.
But I hope he gets there. Whatever the team does, it’s good to at least heave individuals to be excited about.

Lamar Thomas, Horace Copeland, Kevin Williams.
Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, etc.
these guys played with multiple stand out players too. The play was passed around.
Not really.

The first three guys played in an era where depth was so good, they had to wait their turn but the late 90’s receiver depth was trash. There’s a reason Moss and Wayne started as freshmen. From 97-00 only one wide receiver not named Moss or Wayne caught more than 20 passes in a year. Andre King caught 28 balls in 1998.

I think something lost in all the TVD hype (deservedly so) was the TD catch Smiff made. He snatched that TVD rope out of the air with his finger tips. Helluva throw AND catch.

Could easily beat Hurn’s single season receiving yards record this season

Rambo has 650 so far 4 regular season games plus bowl left.
Hurns 1162

Especially with TVD throwing

He must be following this thread. What a game by him and TVD. Imagine if they hooked up on the other that would have been a TD had they been on the same page
