Nobody can say he didn't contribute yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get into coaching.
LOL
Of course he contributed yesterday; he actually played great

Manny Diaz wouldn't be surprised to see him get into coaching either; especially since Diaz flat out said the staff calls him "Coach Ragone" and discussed how smart Ragone is / his understanding of the game.

Diagnosed it, blew through the guard and tackle and stuffed the rb as soon as he met him. I sat up surprised and said “was that....a Miami lber doing that?”
Exactly right....I don't care about physical tools......I don't remember Ragu sauce missing a tackle....much better than anything we've seen from our other lbs. That play where he blew through the guard and dropped the rb upon contact was really Miami old school play. That boy plays much bigger than his size.

More sauce please.....

I liked him all along. His vision and ability to diagnose plays have always been easy to see. Its his physical limitations that prevented him from being productive. Yesterday we played a team with a physically limited roster so Ragone was able to shine. I suspect that had he stayed at Arkansas State he would have been dominating the FCS ranks at LB.

That said, hopefully he can take it to the next level in his off-season strength and conditioning training and become a legit D1 - FBS caliber linebacker. He's got two more years on campus. His story is far from over.

Not the most physically gifted player, but ****, that screen he blew up all by himself reminded me of Ray Lewis. Diagnose and attack before they can block you. Also, the sack was 100% awareness. He saw the RB staying in to block and knew he didn't have to cover the screen. That's the kind of awareness we just don't see often from anyone anymore. Most other guys would just sit there and wonder "what do I do now?"
