We have to stop with this kind of thinking, no disrespect intended.

College football has become MUCH more complex, and we need more guys working in the Hecht, not some 40-year-old org structure with one guy at the top.

We need a lot more personnel devoted to football. Period. And it is time to stop worrying about "ooooh, ohhhh, will our as-yet-hired AD be emotionally threatened by having another employee devoted to football".

You know who isn't worried about Alonzo Highsmith? An Alpha AD who is confident in his abilities, secure in his good looks, and comfortable in his loose-fitting pants.

Dan Rada-motherfvcking-kovich.

Exactly. The more smart football people in the facility the better.

Just read this -

Miami hiring Radakovich only strengthens the odds Venables is the Hurricanes’ next head coach.
No more OTJ training. Venables is a good coach, but he’s not what we need. We need a head coach with head coaching experience.
