I've been meaning to possibly ask this in another thread, so maybe just as well now...

...it says (and is implied elsewhere and also for the HC) that Miami has been "reaching out and making offers". We don't have an AD of course (regarding HC offers the AD would presumably do this) so I can only imagine these offers (reach-outs) are from Top Brass (Frenk'n'staff")...

...but they can make an offer without clearance from the BOT? What if they offer 4M for AD and BOT says "nahh outrageous too much". Is the offer binding? Is it guaranteed by a Fat Cat (in case BOT says nahh.) Can the BOT say "Nahh"? How is this rolling out, anyone really know? I would love to know too (ESPECIALLY regarding reported offers To Mario.)
