Radakovich informs staff he’s coming to Miami

I have no idea to be honest what his buyout is.

I think he's the Lambo though, Mario is the BMW. Nice ride, but there's better out there.

As for what the powers that be spend, nobody with money likes spending anything more than they have to, that's one of the reasons they have money to begin with..

I don't care what they spend, but I'd you're backing up the Brinks truck as people are fond of sayinf here, there's better options.
Lane is certainly not a "Lambo" in that scenario. He's a souped up, nitroused 75 Chevelle that may blow everyone out in a drag race, but may also just blow up on the line.

I was optimistic things would develop quickly after the PAC 12 title game and truly believed something like this with all I heard about Christobal respect for Miami that back channel negotiations would led to an understanding of whether he WANTS the job or not.

Heck his OC just accepted a HC job so he was certainly doing double duty.

It's clear to me Miami based on the pace of the AD hire/announcement of lack there of is going to imo wait on Christobal (and since he has not immediately said yes.....I'm skeptical if he will at this point) if they have an AD in place at the time CMC gives UM his decision if indeed it's a no I firmly believe Manny will return and the new AD will assess the situation in a year.

I cant see any other reason to keep Manny on at this point, the school was supposedly protecting CMC from reports by not dismissing Diaz prior to the PAC 12 title game no reason for that at this point.

LSU hired away Kelly with his team potentially still in the playoff picture they didn't protect him and his wishes, if I was critical of UM its they allowed Oregon to get back in the discussion.

And if a guy profess a school his dream job and waffles on taking it then I question his desire to truly be there, I have seen too many coaches have to be talked into a job and then fail, find a man that sees the potential and wants the challenge provide him all the resources and let it be.

CMC maybe the coach I just am skeptical at this point how much he truly wants the job.

Call me crazy but Radakovich is more crucial than Mario. Even if Mario was to say no, I trust Rad as one of the best ADs in the country to find a comparable big name coach ala Petersen or Lane. But we need Radakovich ASAP.
I’m not so Gung hoe in Rad. Buddy is old. Seems like a Laranaga situation. Rad is ready for country club life. Hire a young hungry AD who wants to light it up

High risk and high reward. That's been the Miami way and I'm fine with it.

Doesn't matter now, that goose is cooked with the extension.

Seems all we do is dream up us making it back to the top.

If Mario spurns us he has to know that he probably will never be the Head Coach at Miami. I can't see the administration and the Columbus guys wanting to make this kind of financial and public commitment to him again if he spurned them. Its really high stakes for him

It has to be Mario now. We ****ed around with Lane too long and he signed an extension with those hill billy cracker rebels.

Perhaps Kiffin is not as sought after as some would think? People dismiss his red flags. Kiffin was most likely never in play. We aren't the only P5 school in the market this cycle.

My prediction might come true.
This was all smoke and mirrors to delay as much as possible and keep Mandy.

When there was no plan after blake we should of all known that Manny back was inevitable, but we wanted to believe.

I’ve said it a million times. Miami is reactive and never proactive. Too many cooks in the kitchen that can’t get out of their own way.

Here we are again just like when Richt retired. Only this time with a blank slate and blank check and all the quality coaches are either extended or situated at their new school.

We’ll keep Manny and fire him midway through next year only to hire Banda, Lashlee, or some other bum.

We have a really bad habit of making things incredibly difficult. Barry Jackson latest reporting that we remain optimistic… lol. How do you have talks with Rad and not leave with a decision? Optimistic is a word I can stand when it comes to Miami. The recruiting pundits use that **** all the time about how we remain optimistic about such and such recruit.

Optimistic means Rad said thanks but no thanks.

Plan on Manny being back. It’s the only viable situation currently. Everything else has been bull****.
