Not to mention Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek. It was almost not fair how fine that woman was back in the day.

Yep; totally forgot about her & she was the reason I got in to Star Trek even though it came out b4 my time. Legit. Gorgeous woman who was an little known trailblazer for African-American Actresses.

Kinda strange that none of us are going to live long enough to ever hear a baseball broadcaster better than Vin.

Vin was a man of character. To make Hanks HR resonate not just in the sports theater but in the social theater as well with grace and understated delivery is what makes him the goat. Not sure anyone else could have delivered that at that time

We’ll never see this type of story telling while giving us play by play ever again. Miss him already. Been missing him since 2016
