You know the old saying in football: The QB gets all the praise when things are going good, and all the blame when things are going bad. I also think sometimes in sports you just need a change of scenery.

We needed the ‘good TVD’ and he’s been better than that so far because of his ability to read and navigate the middle of the field.

Now let’s see him go up one more level. Having him keep the ball on some of those reads definitely does that. Having him aggressively get the heck off his spot and extend plays would be number 2 (and transformational for us in big games).

He clearly trusts the receivers. Maybe I have less trust than he does because there's been a few throws I thought for sure might have been picked with better dbs. I think UF will challenge him a bit more- he did throw for over 300 yards both years he played against them, though.

His personality and professionalism have been really great for the team. I think that confidence has rubbed off on all the young guys...
He is having fun and clearly likes being part of this team. That goes a long way....

it really makes you think about what we have in the QB room.... There are so many reasons to have a seasoned, experienced QB.

Felt like last year Cam coulda probably run for 1,000 pretty easily. I loved seeing that element on Saturday but like you said had to hold my breath a couple times

I'm glad things went the way they did. We would not have gotten Ward if Beck were here, and Beck may not have become what he is now. He got some good development and saw tough schedules in the SEC, and we get to reap the rewards. I wouldn't have it any other way at this point.
