I really got mad at this kid last year. Now i see he is trying to get Scarlett to UF and he helped get Powell there. U know what, he was the son of a cane and he was passed over for mayes (who might be good) and hester who left asap to go home. Wilson was worth a shot. He is kind of kid that would have been recruiting everyone to come to the U.

Not sure I would crown him for that. Brandon was frustrated with the UM administration and had always wanted to go to UF from what read about him. Not sure what Quincy's role was in his recruitment but I'm sure Powell didn't go there to play with him.

Let's revisit in 3-4 years. Aldarius Johnson was more productive than Lane after 1 year and Rayray Armstrong was better than Quincy after year 1. Not saying they won't be any good just saying it's early too early to make evaluations. Who knew Calais Campbell would still be here after his first year at the U.

I believe Powell had an admissions problem, but not sure. Wison should have been offered, but that is their MO. Tone def to a lot of things that matter. Hopefully less so with Ice on the coaching staff and Beard and Baez on the football staff. Do they get a say though?

FL - 19.9 million people with 186 NFL players (2nd in NFL, 3rd in population)

Golden's crew is diverse with his assistants coming from all over the country including 3 Miami guys (Kehoe, Ice, Hurlie) a Tampa guy (Scott) and an FSU guy (Coley).
Golden is not a South Florida guy. This has got to be Coley, Ice, Brown, Kehoe's, and Scott's turf. Golden's links are to NJ and he can pull the top guys to come to us. It's not a bad pipeline to have and it is not one that I would be hating on. If Golden was actually a good coach and we were winning, people would be liking this pipeline.
How many South Florida misses have there been in the last 4 years where we didn't extend an offer? Skai Moore, Quincy Wilson, Mckenzie
