Lol at Dallas having more wiggle than Thomas??
Todd Gurley returned kicks as the starting RB.
Both Dallas and Harley have more wiggle for sure.
Thomas just isn't that shifty. He's basically Dorsett speed wise, but he does have more wiggle than Dorsett.
People forget that Harley is dangerous as **** when he's got the ball in his hands and can make most people miss.
Dallas is a tough runner who has deceptive speed as he knows where he's going several steps ahead of where he is. He processes what's going on around him very well.
It'll all come down to ball security. Should that all be about the same, I want Harley on kick returns and Dallas on punt returns.
Special teams was trash last year bc the blocking was trash... the worst I've ever seen. Jeff Thomas and Mike Harley at KR and DJ Dallas for PR.
Was it Lamar vs osu?Last time we returned a kick off return for a TD not counting the 8 lateral Duke game?
****... I was wrong.... Good ****Without dong any research, I'd guess Duke Johnson in 2012?
I'd like to see Navaughn Donaldson get some burn at PR/KR.

The key to returning is fearlessness, you see a wedge or hole and being able to hit it as hard as you possibly can. With no regard for your body.
Guys that come to mind are Vai Sikahema, Tim Dwight, Hester, Danta Hall. Those guys hit it so hard and at top end. They saw holes before they opened then exploded through.
I didn’t see that in Berrios or Thomas. I saw a lot of waiting and tippy toeing. Rarely making the hole.
Nothing against BB, he was solid.
This. Deejay has a lightning quick cut up the field when he plants on a dime and accelerates. Reminds me a lot of Devin Hester and I think Deejay needs to win this job and we need to give him as many touches as possible.I agree. Something about Deejay gives me a Hester vibe. The fact that the coaches keep repositioning him like Hester was.
^^^^ KR was pretty weak last year, and on the very few times we got a decent return the overwhelming amount of time we had some kind of penalty.
I'm somewhat apprehensive having Jeff Thomas as a PR, not that I don't think he can handle the duties and bring some explosiveness but should he get injured that could handcuff the speed we have at WR
It’s a combination of both posts and reasons. Berries wasn’t scared but I truly believe that JT was and with good reason: no blocking and weighing 160+ last season. His first 3 steps after catching kicks showed his fear and apprehension. Deejay ain’t scared, justifiably or notThere was a reason Berrios and others would fair catch so many punts and it had nothing to do with being scared.
With two or three men usually in your face waiting to hit you as soon as you catch it because of our poor blocking there was little time and room to turn it up or get physical. ALL of our PR candidates have all the skills to be outstanding.
So I don't blame them as much as I do the blocking
Because he is fearless and down for whatever (ride or die Cane)I agree. Something about Deejay gives me a Hester vibe. The fact that the coaches keep repositioning him like Hester was.
