Quick Update On Cory Johnson

Maybe his family knows that Miami has put the most player in the NFL in the last 25 years. Plus a DT, Warren Sapp just got inducted to the Hall of Fame at Cory's position.
 
His family wants him to get a good education and outside of the south people see a UK degree as kissing cousin U. They most likely want Al Golden and Miami , with PSU second.

Johnson is probably thinking he is a 1 FBS year and done type player an he is buying into what UK is selling him on playing in the SEC will get him to the NFL. I see a flip coming, it sounds like AG and staff are working the back channels with his parents to get this done.

If Golden wants him I think he gets him (not saying he doesn't). He's essentially been recruiting him for 3 years since he first committed to him while still at Temple. I just can't see Kentucky holding on to him once Golden puts the full court press on.
 
His parents are probably embarrassed that he told The Don that he was coming here and then did us dirty.
 
Just a bad look how Johnson did the U if he indeed told the staff he was coming then committed to ******* Kentucky.

Especially considering Golden was like his only offer coming out high school.

i dont want to sound like "that guy" but it seems like Cory Johnson may have been offered something more then just a starting spot at Kentucky.... :drevil:

Any update? Pelon, Johnson, & Boatneg seems we are in the running for all three of these JUCO Dlinemen to go with Stuckey.

Obviously he is committed to UK but like OP stated his family is pushing for him to visit other schools.

What that got to do with now? When was the last time we had a d-linemen go in the first round having the most first rounders is not gonna help us beat Florida this weekend?
