Quick mention about Darrell Jackson

Is this real?

🤔 Gotta be

This is a great point. Miller has always flashed, and then seemed to be washed out completely a few plays later. Having him come into the ballgame fresh more often than not will take our two-deep on the line up a notch imo.
The new summer workout program they are going through this summer will fix that issue with Miller. I think he’s going contribute meaningful snaps this year and be a pleasant surprise on that D-line. Also, he’s got some dawgs around him and I think that rubs off.

Quiet as kept, we will have a nice little rotation at DT. Legit 5 deep...maybe 6. (LT, JHH, Jackson, Miller, Moultrie and maybe Haye?)

We need the light to come on for LT and JHH for it to be a major strength.
The USC transfer is going to play a lot more snaps than most of the DTs you mentioned.

LT was a true freshman last year. Tough to dominate on the interior without the time in the weight room. I think he just needs to grow into his body and add some strength. I agree on Hunte though, he's in his fourth year. Definitely more of a "waiting for the light to come on" situation with him.

Our DT room went very pathetic to extremely intriguing and borderline great in one Mario off season. Mesidor, Jackson, Leonard Taylor, JHH, Roberts, Haye, Miller, Lichtenstein, Moultrie, etc. I know some of these guys are tweeners and will play some outside and inside but **** that's a quality group to work with.

Being reported that he’s actually 6’6 and up to 320 now. Yall have complained about the lack of size so I thought I would mention it. Expect him to be a space eater at that size. Not a 3T.
He is the one addition I’m most excited about this season. The reason we are worried though, isn’t because we don’t think Jackson is the goods, it’s because after him, we are severely lacking

Potentially our next Gerald Willis? Haven’t had a dominate DT since G Will back in 2018, if D Jackson can resemble anything Willis did for us I can see our defense easily taking the next level
