No Jerome Brown on the walls anywhere?

It’s amazing how respected JB was. Yesterday at work, just talking w some co-workers about football, and out of no-where, one of colleagues says “man, ppl might not know him, but Jerome Brown was a man amongst boys in Philly. I remember him as a young pup playing my 49ers in 89, and he kept freeing up Reggie and Simmons, that game, teeing off on Joe. He was constantly eating two blocks and getting penetration. We won, but I just remember Jerome and he had a helluva yr as an interior lineman that season. He was on his way to the hall. He was Sapp b4 Sapp. Sad he lost his life too soon.”

This came from a guy who’s all Bay Area sports. It made me feel so proud as a Canes fan to hear someone who doesn’t even watch CFB, say those endearing words about JB. OT, but appropriate as to y he’s on the wall.

Canes nutrition on Instagram gives you a behind the scenes look at that stuff. We have a student center. Not sure on a dedicated area just for athletes like the big boys got. It seems that they have the same 5 or 6 rotating meal options. Good enough but not in the level of the Bamas and Clemson’s of the world.
I agree with others on here that there should be way more emphasis on nutrition. For us to get back to being perennially elite, that's an essential component.

Without proper nutrition, you'll end up looking like a slow Big Ten team and get lapped by the cutting edge programs.

LOL at Golden complaining about players skipping breakfast. The emphasis on nutrition should go way beyond whether they show up to eat breakfast or not.

They should have a chance to eat super clean and nutritious food at every meal on campus. That should be coupled with extensive education on nutrition. We had far too many overweight players last year (particularly on OL). They actually looked soft (particularly in the midsection). A lot of the great work done in the weight room will be offset if their diet is poor.

Great job. I liked how the respected the old and new...they didn't start playing football in 2001. Also, great use of limited space.

One minor complaint.....It is sacrilege to cut off that song before the drum solo!

I meant overall. Facilities are relative. Our campus is tiny so considering the space allotted I think we've got **** nice facilities.

Think luxury boutique hotel vs massive Ritz Carlton.

Personally, I prefer the smaller hotel...more character, more personalized service.
