Perry: This kid is a gamer. That throw to Harley was something else. We finally have a QB that can allow our athletes to make plays. INT was a dumb decision, but it was also PI. UNC defender pulled Harley arm down before ball got there. The fumble was not very good either but St. Louis got beat like a rented mule on that play. So that one is more on OL then Perry. The offense clearly runs better with him and the players respond to him. The TD throw to Langham was NFL stuff. Looked off the safeties and made a pass Brady makes.

Dallas: Man I love watching this kid play. He is a straight baller. I mean this kid is Miami swag. He's got vision, he will run you over, and he has speed to get to the edge. He is a joy to watch. We lucked out Georgia not keeping him in state.

Shaq: Great game. Laid the wood. That strip sack turned the game permanently in our favor.

Thomas: Hmmmm hope we are just saving him for FSU.

Defense: Chizik said this is the best defensive performance of the season. Those guys were hungry and they ate. Aside from that gimmick 3 back offense causing some early issues, they straight up embarrassed UNC. This defense is officially legit. Tackles for loss are still there, turnovers are still there, sacks are still there. But here is the difference in this year vs. last year - 3rd down conversions. Teams simply cannot convert against our D on 3rd down. Too much pressure, too much back end speed. And the tenacity they bring is off the charts in key moments.

Romeo: **** that kid is fast. He straight up blew by a very good athlete. That was fun to watch!

Bandy: We need to add him to the goon squad. This kid is 5'8' and plays like he is Samson. On one play he read bubble screen and just went straight up and trucked the WR. Then he nearly took off the receivers legs on the tackle. This guy is a man possessed. Anyone that says this he would not have made a difference against LSU is sick.

Willis: Another monster game. A dumb penalty but he gets a pass. He caused the Jackson pick 6.

Jackson: Coming around last few games. He will be a monster as the season progresses.

Baxa: I have never seen a kicker split the uprights on FG's and struggle on extra points. But I won't complain if he keep making the FG's.

Spicer: No hang time. Just as I said in the Feagles thread this week, the reason why Feagles has not been replaced is because the backup is not any better. This position is a problem.

Mike Smith: Dare I say Smith has become a very good MLB? I mean when he hits the hole the RB is killed. Strong game from him. Kudos to him for working his butt off to get here.

Richt: Kudos to Richt for playing the best players. Hopefully that agenda by some posters ends this week. Bottom line is Richt came here to win, not to ride off in the sunset. He is going to play the best players, end of story. Please stop with the narrative that he is too stubborn to win.

Agree on everything. I will add that I'm down with taking a punter this year even if it means no QB. This is beyond ridiculous that we don't have someone that can just kick the ball away on 4th down. Also the protection is awful as well.
Need a qb this year. Can’t go into 2019 with 2 qbs cuz someone will transfer.

At some point the announcers were talking about how saban, urban, Richt (basically any HC at a major program) and saying how they don't F around, they play to win. There's simply too much at stake to let hurt feelings or anything else get in the way of making the decision that gives you the best shot at winning. No matter what you think of Richt's decisions about QB and punter, it's just stupid to think he's got better guys he isn't playing. Perry was still doing something wrong, that's why he wasn't starting. We don't have a punter better than Feagles right now. The young guys don't grasp the playbook well enough yet.

Criticize Richt for not recruiting or developing better, but drop that sht about he's being loyal to certain guys or he prefers upperclassmen. He plays the guys who can best do the job. If a guy you don't like is playing then the guy behind him hasn't earned his spot yet. Being talented isn't enough.

Watch it again man. Reason why it bounced off his chest is because his arm was being held down so he could not make a play on the ball.

I agree with this, safety got their just a sec early but you can't really time it better then he did. Throw was on target though

Coaches make mistakes all the time when it comes to playing inferior players over better players. They don’t do it intentionally. They think they’re playing the right guy, but it’s not a scientific formula. Humans make mistakes all the time when it comes to evaluating other humans’ abilities.

The example that always comes to mind is Booch David playing Dyral McMillan over Edgerrin James. They also started Ike Mercer over Jeremy Shockey. We insisted on starting Linda at Center a couple years ago despite him being horrible, and Gall immediately proved he was a huge upgrade. There are thousands of other examples.

Some retarded fans assume every backup is better than the starter, but sometimes they are.

The offense scored 19 points against a bad UNC defense when the game was still in doubt(if it ever was) and three of the points were set up by an end of the half pick. I get the ball looks pretty and Perry is all new and shiny but if the "offense runs better" which is up for the debate at this point it is because we're finally pounding inferior opponents on the ground.

The offense only ran like 46 plays because of all the defensive TDs. You can't look at offensive production in a vacuum in a game like this. Look at yards per play.

Go look at our yards per play in other games. Scoring drives for Miami aren't long drawn out occasions. We score quick. There was a whole third quarter where three drives ended in two turnovers and a punt. Those drives also contributed to a lack of plays run.

So what you are saying is you know for sure that without those turnover TDs, the offense would have gotten the ball back and did nothing? Since you can see the future, can you get me this weeks Powerball numbers?

The 3rd Qtr was not good for Perry but he looked great for the first half and then we just ran it down their throats in the 4th.

I should have said that he's playing the players he believes are best, because he absolutely can be wrong. My point was that he's got a reason- he's seeing something in practice that for him is outweighing talent. Some of these young guys who look good now might not have been ready a month ago, but fans are going to assume that it was just senile old Richt not realizing what he had every time.

He may be wrong sometimes, but I don't believe he's holding back.

Spicer is terrible too. But I think Fecals needed a rest. He’s shot mentally. He might have even tapped out secretly. I’d like to see Big Leg Bubba Bexley get some work in practice punting.

At this point I'm open to trying anybody. Like isn't there a 4th string FB who punted in middle school? Let's let that guy shank punts while Feagles gets some PTSD therapy.

stopped reading at this point. #Clueless
It wasn't a terrible decision, but it was into very tight coverage. Had Perry turned his head a little to the right he would have seen Homer completely uncovered in the flats on that play, which would have been the better option.
